The Twinesound is a structure meets noise vs. melody sound, always morphing into something new. Glitchy beats collapse into warm swarms of static, long atmospheric drones become abstract soundscapes where cold dark ambience and stark angular structures meet. As much a noisy, ambient experience as any heard today, from Fennesz’s Endless Summer to Black Dice’s Beaches and Canyons, Twine also draws influence from the free-floating, sand-blasted vocals of Cocteau Twins. This is a story of the fuzzy lines that connect and distance humanity, and the spiritual in-between that emerges in the nighttime hours.
Lea Bertucci - http://brokendiorama.com/Magneticcollage.html (on tour!)
Lea Bertucci is an interdisciplinary artist who works with Photography, Sound, Video and Installation. She received her BA in Photography from Bard College in 2007, the same year she was awarded a fellowship from the Tierney Foundation. The emphasis of her work lies in exciting the liminal areas of perception. She uses tactics such as slide projection, stop motion video and lo-fi filtering of sound to engage with these ideas. In 2009 she was awarded a residency from Smack Mellon and a Young Composer’s Commission from Roulette. She has performed solo and collaborative works at venues such as Roulette, Issue Project Room, The Kitchen, Anthology Film Archives, St. Marks Ontological-Hysteric Theater, free103point9, Galapagos Artspace, The Queens Museum of Art and the High Zero Festival.
Charles Dube http://www.ccbbdd.org/ (on tour!)

Solo (recently under CUL D’OR) and as a member of Baltimore’s TRIBAL HAUS group home, as well as local groups HOBO’S GREED and MAN JOY LOVE, Charles’ live and recorded work has ranged from voice based tape music to abstract and malevolent live electronics. Duration and juxtaposition are focal points in his approach, often inspired by horror, lust, and uncertainty.
